How Do I Download Static Data?

This guide is for downloading static data, when the data has been saved to the internal storage of the receiver. If data was logged to the SD Card, the file will instead be on the SD Card, and can be downloaded directly from the SD card.

To record static data, please see the guides below.

Once you have finished recording, you will need to connect to the WebUI. Please consult the below guide on connecting to the WebUI.

Once connected to the WebUI, select the third tab, Download

To download your static file, locate the file you wish to download and select Download

Once downloaded, your file will appear in your systems download folder. To learn how to process the data, please consult the guide on using the Rinex Convertor

Processing Static Data

How Do I Create Rinex Files?

The static files created by the Hemisphere S631 are not immediately available to be used by a static processor. First they must be converted to a universal format. This is where the Rinex Convertor comes into play.

To download the Rinex Convertor, select the button below. (It is totally free)

Once the Rinex convertor is installed, you are going to want to ensure you have the static files downloaded from the receiver. If you do not have the files downloaded, please refer to the guide below.

Once the static file is downloaded and the Rinex Convertor installed and opened, you are going to want to select File and New Profile

Once selected, choose the Load Binary File option.

Locate your binary file (the file downloaded from the receiver) and select Open

Once Opened, you will see all the information associated with the file. In order to process the file, select the Process Rinex 3 option in the bottom left corner.

Once process is selected, a Rinex observation file will be generated in the same location as the binary file from which it was created. This file can now be uploaded to OPUS or CSRS-PPP.
